The Buffalo Bills  

The Buffalo Bills are New York's football team, period!  The ONLY team to play their home games in the State of New York as the Giants and Jets both play in New Jersey.  Located in a suburb of Buffalo today, called Orchard Park  (a highly controversial decision, argued to this day), the Bills were first located at a site called the 'Old Rock Pile' in East Buffalo. The proper name was the War Memorial Stadium.   The Bills' won 2 consecutive titles in 1964 and 1965 in the old AFL and have not been able to match that in the NFL since.  Even though they have yet to get that ring, they have come very close 4 times and the people of Buffalo have not given up.

Sundays are more than a spiritual time for worship in Buffalo, during autumn and most of winter, its Bills season! Buffalonians scramble to various grocery stores and pizza shops for last minute tailgate and football party  supplies for the big game.  Monday mornings in Buffalo are buzzing with talk of the game and possibly time to keep out of sight, if the bills played not so good and your boss is a Bill's fan.

With guys like J.P. Losman, Marshawn Lynch, Lee Evans, and Paul Posluszny, the bills are set to go a long way!!!
